a christmas miracle

 hello everyone and welcome back to the blog. looks like we will not be setting a new record for least amount of posts in a year! so i have a really interesting story that happened to me at work yesterday that i wanted to share with you.

    so there i am stocking my bags of salad when a cashier calls for me to come up front because there was a phone call specifically for me. so i answer and say thanks for calling how can i help you and i hear "hey um, this is kind of awkward but i was just in the store with my friend and she thought you were really cute but was too scared to ask for your number, do you think you could give it to her?" and i was just quiet for a bit because thats such a bizarre thing to hear. but i did see two women in there kind of looking at me so i knew it had to be one of those two. so i was just like um sure and i gave my number out. and it did turn out to be who i thought it was! she's a really pretty 25 year old and weve been having a nice chat since then lol. 

i asked her how she knew my name to ask for me though and she said her friend saw me in there 2 weeks earlier and facetimed her saying how she just saw a really good looking man working at the store and wanted to set her up with me lol. she said they looked all over the stores facebook page trying to see if they ever posted me and they did find one and thats how they knew. then she said as soon as i walked by them yesterday she looked at her friend and said thats gotta be him and she was like "🤤🤤" omegalel

i didnt know i had it like that fellers. lets see how i blow it this time 😅

results of survery 2022

how i almost got into a fight at the store.

 hello everyone and welcome back to the blog. this is an unplanned blog that i just felt like making because it is a funny story

so yesterday i was working at the store and this trailer with a boat tied to the back of it and some more cars parked right in front of the building blocking the entrance. im guessing total it was like 50 feet worth. note that i didnt see it all pull up, on sundays i have to get the shopping carts in at the top of every hour im there. as i was going to get them i saw it all, and there was like teenage girls climbing out the windows and stuff to sit on the back while i guess one of their dads or older brother or something went in to buy beer and stuff for them. 

well obviously i couldnt go get the carts because the obstruction so i just told the person up front it would have to wait. i come back like 10-15 minutes later and they are still out there, girls still climbing through windows being obnoxious. and i decide f it im gonna go get them anyways. there is this really small space just not quite wide enough for me to get through in between them and i tell them im going to bring them in either way. so the truck at the very back of the line backed up just enough for me to get through with the buggies and i waved at him as a thanks. i asked one of the teen boys, probably 17, "are you guys gonna move this shit any time soon?" and he says "a- ar- are you gonna do any work any time soon?" and to me this was just the most hilarious thing. i assume he thought this was some kinda cool comeback and i just said nah man probably not and walked back inside. as im going back in i hear the kid telling some older woman, again either mom or older sister or something, and i hear her say f me and give me the bird. oh well.

that brings us to tonight. im closing and im walking up front to clock out and as i approach the register i see a familiar face! i hear that woman telling the cashier how some a-hole who worked here asked them when they were gonna move their shit, and maybe i shouldnt have done this but i speak up and i say 'yeah that was me' and her eyes get big and calls me names or whatever, i already forgot. anyways i just tell her it was just obnoxious for them to be in a no parking zone for that long and have those kids doing that stuff. 

then i guess her husband, who was the guy that i guess came into the store yesterday, came up behind her and started staring at me as the woman is still fussing at me but at this point ive zoned her out and im just smiling at the guy who is staring at me. this angered him and he started yelling at me too telling me how he was gonna knock me out so i said "ok fat boy, im sure" and he started coming up on me telling me im not gonna just smile in his face and say that and act like its not a big deal (editors note: its not). at this point the manager is pushing me into the store office and fat boy is following us. i get pushed behind 2 of my coworkers and fat boy is still yelling at me with them in between us. im still cheesing by the way. the guy insults me for working at a grocery store and telling me how he has more money than me and that whatever im getting paid is too much because im not worth anything. cheesing which has him furious.

anyways after a few more minutes of him telling me how hes so much better than me and insults he finally leaves. my coworker who i have actually become good friends with over this past couple weeks started laughing and then the guy starts yelling at him "you think thats funny flat-bill mother fucker?" note coworker had a flat bill hat on. anyways they leave and i walk out of the office and im just freaking laughing at how mad they were and how i apparently ruined their day twice in a row

fixing the seasons

 hello everyone and welcome back to the blog. people we have a problem. the climate seasons are either outdated or are just plain wrong. let me explain

you mean to tell me that the majority of the month of june is spring, but the majority of the month of september is summer? you mean to tell me the majority of the month of december is fall, but the majority of march is winter? you know in your heart this is off and should be corrected. luckily for you i know how to fix it

its very simple, december-february is winter. march-may is spring, june-august is summer. september-november is fall. thats it. there is nothing drastic here no hot takes. if it needs to be revised in the future from climate change then we can change it again it shouldn't be off limits to change.

now i hear what some of you poindexters may be saying "but muh solstices". black boy, do you really give a darn the winter solstice because i dont think you do. i wouldnt even know when it was if it wasnt on the calendar.

i dont know who has the power to change this but i say we all send this blog to our local congressmen and see what they can do about it.

top 10 fruit

 alright hello everyone and welcome to the blog. today i will be discussing my top favorite fruits. let us begin

10.blueberry

i think blueberries are hit or miss. sometimes they are soft and not that great but other times they are crisp and i particularly like when they are sour!

9.pineapple

a pineapple is actually a really good fruit to eat in my opinion. however. they mess my stomach up when i eat them so i have to rank them low because well if you dont like me how can i rank highly?

8.strawberry

at this point i would have to say the strawberry. not the worlds best fruit in my opinion, but it is a good one to have. it goes well with a lot of thing and they make for a great snack

7.watermelon

folks this could be a controversial opinion. watermelon is a very popular fruit amongst all people. and i agree that the best watermelon is about as good as it gets. however most watermelons are not that great. i often have melon that is ok, still tasty and everything, but nothing special. and i often have to smell rotten watermelon at my job and that is very gross so it comes in at number 7 spot

6.apple

you look at these apples and tell me your mouth doesnt start watering. i personally love honey crisp apple, stayman apple, snapdragon apple. do not like any apple that falsely claims to be 'delicious'

5.peach

what is there to say other than a peach is a quality fruit. now i personally eat it just like an apple and bite right into it but some people say im weird for that because they dont like the fuzz. i dont care i gnaw right in.

4.kiwi

at the number 4 spot we have kiwi. it is exotic folks. when i bite into the kiwi it gives my brain a good feeling. i dont know how to explain it but it goes straight to the brain and i like it 

3. mongoose

very much like the kiwi, the mongoose goes straight to the brain. i eat this and i feel goodness in the brain. people i truly dont understand it, but i like it and it gives a shiver. one thing i do not like about mongoose is its hard to cut but that does not take away from its excellent taste and brain feels

2.grape

at the silver medal i have to say grapes, particularly the red ones. i start eating these bad boys and i cant stop. ive eaten full 3 pound bags at once. i even think to myself  'ok this will be the last one' and then the last one is so good i have to have another handful. and then another... its so amazing i could eat this all day long

1. ruston rustler

my all time favorite fruit has to be ruston rustler himself. weve been through a lot together. friends for such a long time. not a day has gone by that i havent thought about ruston rustler since we became friends. and yes i accept him for who he is i love him all the same!
